This documentation explains how to use the bulk import feature for tenants in Onaya Réno. It allows you to create or update multiple tenants at once from an Excel file, which is particularly useful for projects with a large number of units.
Prerequisites:
You must have the Administrator or Editor role on the project.
Have subscribed to an Onaya Réno plan
This feature is available only on web (not on mobile).
1. Access the import function
Open your project in Finalcad One.
In the left menu, go to the "tenants" page.
Above the occupants table, click the "Import" button.
A window opens, titled "Import tenants".
Before importing tenants, you must use the template provided.
In the import window, click the "Download the template" button.
An Excel file is downloaded to your computer.
If occupants already exist in the project, they will be pre-filled in the file, sorted alphabetically (last name, then first name). This allows you to update them directly by modifying their information.
Warning: if you do not want to update your occupants, it is best to delete the rows from the file including their ID at the beginning of the line.
Complete the template with your tenants' information following these rules:
Name: this is the only required field. Any row without a name will not be imported.
E-mail / E-mail 2 : must be valid email addresses.
Location : choose in the list of locations.
Holidays date (from/to) : Must be DD/MM/YYYY
Yes/no fields : just indicate yes or no. If the cell is empty, it will be interprated as “no”
⚠ The cells in the file are configured to accept only the expected formats. Do not modify the file structure.
Back in the import window, drag and drop your completed Excel file into the designated area ("Add the template here"), or click to select it.
The "Import" button activates once a valid file is dropped.
Click on "Import" to start the import.
If the file structure is not correct, an error message will be displayed.
The import is processed in the background: you don't need to stay on the page.
A message confirms that the import has started.
An email is sent to you at the end of the import with a summary
If errors are detected, the email contains a link to download the error file : the rows with errors are highlighted in red with the error description at the end of the line.
Refresh the "Tenants" page to see the updated list.
