# Storage optimization

Effectively manage the storage space used by Finalcad One on your device for an optimal experience.

1.  **Accessing Storage Settings:**
    
    -   On the home page of Finalcad One, select your profile icon at the top right.
        
    -   Choose the **Storage and Data** option.
        

2.  **Storage Optimization Options:**
    
    -   **Enable 'Compress Images':** All photos you take are sent in their original version. This option may slow down synchronization, reduce battery life, and quickly fill up your device.
        
    -   **Enable 'Optimize Storage':** This option intelligently manages the downloading of resources, thereby reducing the space occupied by Finalcad One.
        
        > **Info:** Disable this option only if you need to access all your images in offline mode and an internet connection is not available.
        
3.  **Checking Used Space:**
    
    -   Take advantage of this section to check the storage space occupied by Finalcad One on your device.
