The Finalcad One public API can address many use cases related to your organization by enabling the connection and exchange of information between Finalcad One and your various tools via our endpoints and webhooks. This allows you to:

To help you envision all the possibilities offered by our public API, we have listed some of the possible use cases below.
Automatically manage your workspaces and projects
You can automatically create all your projects in Finalcad One, via Excel or your existing project management tool, with for example the following elements defined:
Project name
Address
Location in the workspace hierarchy
Members and associated rights
Modules
Companies
Similarly, you can modify or delete them automatically.
You can also automatically create your workspaces, with the members you want.
Automatically manage your members
You can automatically add members to your organization, workspaces, and projects by synchronizing with your HR system.
This way, every time someone joins your company, you can automatically add them to Finalcad with the correct access and associated rights.
Similarly, you can automatically revoke access to Finalcad One for members who leave your company.
Automatically manage your items
You can automatically create forms in Finalcad One for each of your projects. This allows you, for example, to act preventively by standardizing your self-check and control processes.
You can also automatically retrieve completed forms from Finalcad One so they can be used in your systems.
Similarly, you can automate the modification of your items, such as their status. This allows you to:
bulk edit multiple items
allow the modification of an item when an action is performed in another of your tools
Automatically manage your plans and documents
You can automatically update, validate, and distribute your plans and documents from your DMS (Document Management System) to Finalcad. Whether it’s from our DMS (Wizzcad), OneDrive, Sharepoint or any other DMS you use.
Communicate on your different tools
To facilitate collaboration and tracking across your various teams, you can connect Finalcad One with the collaboration tools you use, such as WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams, SMS, or email.
A message can thus be sent for each new creation or editing of an item using the webhook system (observation, form, etc.).
Dashboards with your third-party data
You can use Finalcad data in visualization tools like Power BI. This allows you to create customized dashboards by combining information from Finalcad One with data from other sources.
