By default when your client (architect or client) wishes to participate in using FINALCAD for your project, he or she can see the whole of the data already available.
Do you wish that he or she can’t see your existing issues on arrival to the project ?
It’s possible, here’s how :
- The integration of your actual project
A new user can “create or close” with a square marker in order to differentiate it with your own. He or she can’t see your issues thanks to a restriction (details of marker fo.rms are given in the following article : Why are certain markers round and others square?)
The good news is that you can do this immediately : If you want to add it to an existing project we suggest you connect to your account on manager.finalcad.com (see article : How can you manage user groups in manager.finalcad.com?).
- Create a different project and give him or her complete visibility of this project.
It’s possible to create a new project from an initial one in order to start a new phase, for example the pre-turnover phase, or to give him or her the possibility of making his or her own separate inspection. In this case, you just need to write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us have the following details :
- Original project name
- Desired name for new project
- What you want to do with the existing issues :
- include or not include them in the new project
- include only those that are created or fixed
- include all
Note : restrictions can be made to all user groups.
