You are connected to your project; now it is time to create your first event!
An event is a new entry in a daily log, an incident, a best practice, a piece of good news, or even just a photo you want to keep for later use or share with your associates.
Every photo you take on the site will be saved as an < Event > in Finalcad Live. Each event is classified by category. You can locate each event on your blueprints. You can also see its timestamp and the name of its creator.
Opening your project
- Select the tile that matches your project.
- All the events associated with this project will be displayed. To create a new one:
- On iOS, < + > is located in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
- On Android, press the < + > icon on the right.
Selecting a category
- On iOS and Android, choose a category for this event.
The categories are classified by family. A family is a group of several categories - Take a photo.
- You can also select an image from your gallery.
- Or click on the arrow to skip this step if you don’t want to add a photo to this event.
Annotating your photo
- You can annotate this photo.
- Once you have finished, you can save this photo in your event.
- On iOS, select < Confirm >.
- On Android, press the tick icon in the top right-hand corner.
Adding further information
- Enter the priority of this event. The priority will appear in your project and in the report.
- Enter a category for this event.
- Assign a person to take charge of this event.
- Enter the location of the construction site. Geolocate yourself automatically if your phone’s GPS is active.
- Once you have finished, you can save this photo in your event.
- On iOS, select < Save >.
- On Android, press the tick icon in the top right-hand corner.
