FINALCAD takes security seriously.
Our system will regularly and automatically direct you to update your password. There are two ways to change your password: 1. In the “Manage profile” section on FC Classic Manager or 2. the Reset your password web page.
Changing a password on FC Classic Manager (manager.finalcad.com)
- Go to manager.finalcad.com (EU) or to manager-ap.finalcad.com (for projects hosted in Asia).
- Access your profile.
Enter your Finalcad ID and password.
- Enter your current password.
- Choose a new password.
- Tap on “Apply” to confirm.
Important notice: Your password must contain:
- At least eight characters
- one upper-case letter
- one lower-case letter
- one number
4. If your PRO projects have already been loaded, make sure that your new password has been applied to your device.
Important: Your new password is applied by synchronizing your projects or updating the profiles on your device.
If the synchronization mode of your PRO project is set to:
- automatic, wait a few seconds before connecting. For more information, see the article Automatic Synchronization what to know;
- manual, see the article Synchronizing all of your projects
To log out, select your name and tap on “Logout” on the next screen.
Changing a password on a dedicated site
Follow these procedures if you have a FINALCAD account and you’ve forgotten your password or you wish to set it in order to log into your PRO projects.
Follow these steps to reset your password.
1. Open the Reset password page
- Use this link to open the Reset password page.
2.Ask for a password reset
- Enter the email address used for your account.
- Tap on “Receive instructions.”
- After a few minutes, you will receive an email with a link which you need to click on to reset your password.
- The following screen will appear:
3. Reset your password
Enter your new password (following the guidelines on the screen) in the two fields, and then tap on “Change password.”
The next screen will appear to confirm that your password has been reset.
4. If your PRO projects have already been loaded, make sure that your new password has been applied to your device.
Important: Your new password is applied by synchronizing your projects or updating the profiles on your device.
