From the 7.10 Finalcad version and onwards, it is now possible to use the construction phases of your site directly in one unique Finalcad project.
Default phase
A phase is always set up by default by our team during the project creation according to your site progress.
Afterward, all new issues in this project will be created under the default phase. This phase will appear in the issue activity flow:
For your information, the available phases are the following ones:
- Preparation
- Work
- Structural Works
- MEP & Architectural Works
- Handover
- Defect Liability Period
- Operation
Multiple construction phases in a one single project
A construction site will usually go through different phases during its lifetime. In addition, you might have to manage several phases simultaneously on the same site. For example, in the lower levels, you will handle MEP & Architectural works while still working on the structural tasks in the upper levels.
Thanks to the Finalcad manager platform, you are able to change the default phase of your project. More information on the "Construction phases management for my site" article.
Hence, you will have a unique project that will gather all your issues from the beginning stages up to the end of your project (Structural Works, Archi, Handover, DLP).
Note: Naturally, if you still want to follow 1 phase per project, this configuration is also possible. You just need to inform our team.
Access restriction per phase
During your construction site lifetime, the same stakeholders are not necessarily involved in the early stages of a project as well as the handover phase. As a consequence, you will need to manage restrictions by phases to make sure the right user has access to the right information.
These settings can be configured on the Finalcad manager platform. More information on the "Construction phases management for my site" article.
