In this article, you will find a complete list of available rights for each role: Admin, Advanced, and Basic.
Who can access the Finalcad Live Manager platform?
All users with a Finalcad license will be able to access this platform. Depending on their role (Admin, Advanced or Basic), all users can manage their projects at their organization (aka company) level, at their project level, or just check pieces of information.
What is the role?
A role is a user classification that will define the users’s rights on the FC Live platform regarding project creation, project edition or project, and events access. We currently have 3 roles: Admin, Advanced, and Basic. A list of rights is linked to each role (for example: create a project).
How do I know if I have an Admin, Advanced or Basic role?
When you subscribe to our solutions, you will choose a role for each user. By doing so, each user can be either Admin, Advanced, or Basic. In case you create a new user from our FC Manager platform, this user will automatically have a Basic role.
If you don’t know your role, you can find this information in the Finalcad Live mobile app. In the settings project page. In the app, you just need to select “See my rights” and your role will appear at the top of the screen (see screenshot below). With the Finalcad Live Manager version 1.2 (the next one), you will also be able to see your rights directly in the platform itself.
How to know my role: 1- Open Finalcad Live app 2- Choose a project and open the project settings 3- Select “See my rights” 4- On the top of the screen, you will see your role (in this example, Lea is “Admin”) |
