✉️ Flow templates: Receive Finalcad project information by email

To learn how to select a model and configure its connections, go here.

Four flow models are available so you can receive information from the Finalcad project by email when:

an observation is created
an observation is modified
a form is created
a form is modified

Push and email notifications are also available directly with Finalcad.

Configure the flow

The top part of the flow corresponds to the configuration of the flow trigger.
The rest corresponds to the action associated with the flow.

Required changes

You must select an organization and a project for the flow to work. To do this:

Click on the trigger
Example: "Trigger Observation created"
Select the organization and project of your choice
That is, the project for which you want the action to be performed.

Optional modifications

You can make other modifications to the flow if you wish. Here are some possible modifications:

Receive information on another channel

Email sending is configured by default with Gmail. It is possible to modify the action to use another email service (for example by choosing the action associated with Office 365 Outlook), or to set up sending to another collaboration tool, such as Microsoft Teams.

Modify the email content

You can for example modify the email content. If you want to enlarge the image size:

Select the email action
Replace the code in the email body ("Body") with:

Tester et valider le flux

Lorsque votre flux est prêt :

Cliquez sur “Enregistrer”, puis sur “Tester”
Cliquez sur le bouton pour tester le flux “Manuellement”.
Un bandeau “Pour l’utiliser maintenant, exécutez l’action de démarrage” s’affiche.

Faites l’action qui déclenche le flux que vous êtes en train de configurer.
Exemple : pour le flux “Send an email when an observation is created”, allez sur Finalcad One et créez une observation.

Si le flux a bien fonctionné :

Sur Microsoft Power Automate, le message « Votre flux a été correctement exécuté » s’affiche
L’action associée au flux est effectuée
Exemple : pour le flux “Send an email when an observation is created”, vous recevez dans la boîte mail sélectionnée un e-mail pour vous informer de la création d’une observation dans votre projet.
L’envoi d’un e-mail peut prendre environ une minute.

Si le message « Votre flux a été correctement exécuté » ne s’affiche pas après environ une minute, revenez à la modification de votre flux et sélectionnez à nouveau l’organisation et le projet (voir “Configurez le flux” plus haut). Il se peut que votre sélection n’ait pas été prise en compte.
